What is a Holiday Weight Challenge and why should you join? As we all know, this is a busy time of year. Beginning with Halloween, Religious Holidays, Thanksgiving, Christmas and the New Year’s Eve festivities, it’s really like a marathon of celebrations centered around food. With so much going on, how do you really get through this time of year without gaining any weight? That’s the real goal! So I am creating a challenge for all of us to maintain our weight throughout these weeks beginning Mon. Nov.14th ending Mon. Jan 2nd, 2017 (or if your goal it to lose weight that’s permitted too!) What a wonderful gift to give yourself for the holidays! Just imagine beginning a New Year without added weight!

This week, I will post different topics to help guide us through this hectic time of year such as how to set up goals, planning and execution, exercise, how to handle stress & stress eating, meal planning, food preparation, shopping and more. We’ll have recipe swaps and share healthy grab and go items.  I have asked a few experts to join us and discuss helpful information from their respective fields so we can continue to learn and arm ourselves with more tools to help achieve our goals.  Start signing up today!

The rules are simple and easy to follow:

  2. Every Monday, send me a photo verification of your weigh in  (I will post a video demo on Sunday) The weigh in dates are 11/14, 11/21, 11/28, 12/05, 12/12, 12/19, 12/16, 01/02
  3. For those who maintain or lose their weight, your name will be entered into a raffle for a chance to win one of three prizes – $50.00 Amazon Gift Card, or Jaxx Food Storage System or Digital Food Scale

    Weighed myself the 14 and today down 7lbs today compared my measurements from October 1 lost 12″ in my waist, 3 inches in the hips and 1 inch in arms and legs.

    I celebrated my birthday with a candle in my greek yogurt Monday. We had a wine tasting although I didn’t drink any wine Friday. Black tie gala with a sit down dinner Sunday.
    My sons swimming, rowing and walking club keep me busy in addition to working and life.
    Thursday we hubs and I
    Joined a new gym have a whole new work out routine that I started today. Feeling optimistic.
