It seems one of the favorite topics of conversation is about food and what everyone is eating. I routinely ask people what they are having for lunch as I’m always looking for new ideas. Ever since I started taking my Jaxx everywhere, I am asked on a regular basis, what it is and how it works. So, here’s A Day In The Life Of My Jaxx! Check Out What’s In The Bag!

  • The first photo is my Jaxx packed up for the day. Every evening, I get Jaxx ready for the next day.
  • Next is simply two hard-boiled eggs and some celery sticks. I wanted something that reminded me of egg salad, but I really wasn’t in the mood for egg salad, so I paired the eggs with celery, added a little salt and black pepper. This was protein packed meal and eggs are a great way to full you up without massive calories.
  • I had some left over Tribe Hummus that I combined with the Mini Bell Peppers and celery sticks. I really love this vegetable combination with hummus. It’s such a wonderfully bright, crisp and crunchy meal. There are so many great choices available now when buying hummus. In the past, hummus was loaded with fat, but now there’s a wider variety of brands offering low-fat and rich flavors. Check out the hummus section the next time you hit the supermarket.
  • Just for the record, I am OBSESSED ( or at least it seems that way to me, LOL) with meatballs. I would venture to say I make a batch of meatballs a few times per month. I whip up a batch and freeze them for later use. I normally use ground chicken, but add different ingredients, whether it’s herbs and spices or other protein sources, I really enjoy coming up with new versions of meatballs. These meatballs were chicken with Italian sausage, herbs and spices. YUM!!
  • Last but not least, Fage Plain 0% non-fat Greek Yogurt, with fresh strawberries. When it comes to greek yogurt, I would say, Fage is my number 1 favorite! I just love the creamy, rich consistency and overall flavor. If you are into food presentation, the yogurt is very aesthetically pleasing! Once you pull back the foil lid, there is a paper liner that skims the top of the yogurt. When you peel back the paper liner, a dense, rich and creamy yogurt awaits your taste buds! I’m not a huge fan of the fruit on the bottom type yogurt out there in the market. Those types of yogurt seems overly sweet to me, so I prefer to add my own fresh fruit, such as a few sliced strawberries and if needed, I will add a package of Stevia.
