I’ve been thinking a lot about everyone who so kindly writes me and follows this blog. My initial reason for starting it in the first place was to help others with their weigh loss goals. Yet I don’t think you would ever begin to imagine just how much your words, comments and positive feedback really touch my heart. At times, I feel isolated, writing from behind the desk in my re-purposed garage. You fill me with a renewed energy and hope that something shared here really matters. For that, I want to thank you from the deepest part of my soul.

So, without getting too over the top mushy, LOL, I wanted to get back to the topic at hand. My MAY-DAY, MAY-DAY Challenge. The goal is to get back to a more disciplined, healthy and mindful way of eating. As we all have super busy lives, our schedules are over booked beyond a normal 24 hour day and there just doesn’t seem to be enough time to really focus in on healthy eating. That’s why I decided to put up another month long challenge. The main idea is to eat more natural, fresh, even adding in organic products where possible. I’m starting with me as the example and will share my goings on in terms of what I’m eating, how I’m balancing my schedule with work, family, and other commitments. I’ll discuss how to find time for self care, meal prep, exercise and handling stress.

Basically, I need to work on all of those areas of my life and  this MAY-DAY call to action is designed to get us all headed in the right direction. Accountability – even the most public kind, seems to work for me. I guess I just like to be a good example to others and really put the work in to show just what’s really possible. Sometimes we don’t want to hear the word “work or “hard work” either. But, truth be told, we do have to work for what we want! To really reach our goals or have any success beyond our own imagination, does take some amount of work.

The good news here is that the work doesn’t have to be hard. The real key is “CONSISTENCY.”  The science field speaks about how many days it takes to create a new habit. Well, with this challenge, we will have 31 days to work with. Let’s focus on each day and before we know it, we’ve built new, healthy habits into our lives. That’s the consistency part of the equation.

I’d love some company, so sign up here or check me out on instagram or my facebook page.

What do you say? Will  you say Yes to this MAY DAY CALL TO Action?

  2. Thanks for sharing your ideas. I would also like to express that video games have been actually evolving. Better technology and inventions have made it easier to create practical and active games. These entertainment games were not really sensible when the real concept was first of all being tried. Just like other forms of technology, video games also have had to progress as a result of many ages. This itself is testimony for the fast development of video games.
