I have to say, that the month of February was a blur for me! Where did the month go! My mom always told me that as you get older, time seems to go by more quickly, but I didn’t really want to believe it! I feel as if we didn’t really get into meal planning and meal prep, so throughout this month, I’ll make a point to include some discussions revolving around our meals, getting organized and keeping a consistency to it all.

As a kid, when my Dad taught my brother how to play baseball, he automatically included me. In looking back at this now, it amazes me that my Dad thought to include me since girls didn’t play baseball back then. There weren’t sports teams for girls at that time. So I guess my love of sports started then and continued throughout my school years as I did play sports until I graduated from High School. Sports and fitness aren’t something foreign to me yet, as an adult, it was the exercise that I quickly cut out of my daily routine.

When I was looking at all of the different aspects of weight loss and weight maintenance, Fitness, Exercise and how to include it in our daily lives was something I knew I wanted to talk about. Every time I went on a new eating plan, some form of exercise was included. But, as time went on, it was the exercise that I would quickly cut out of my routine. In talking with many people about this very subject, why is it that so many of us are willing to cut the exercise out of our lives? I cannot tell you how many times in my life, I’ve done this and it seems I’m not alone here. From what I’ve learned, focusing on eating better, get enough sleep, plan our meals, change the way we cook, eat and shop is challenging enough. Then, we have to add exercise to that mix. All of those changes, although all great things, can seem overwhelming to accomplish and fit into our very busy lives. So how is it possible to get exercise to be part of our daily lives and make it a permanent fixture on our to-do lists?

As we March into a new month and we get closer to spring and summer, we’ll look at everything related to fitness. Here are
