Week 4 - Back On Track Challenge - THE WRAP UP!

When I decided to create this challenge, I had developed a list of 10 topics that were continually being discussed on social media and in daily chats, zoom meetings with family, friends and in the fitness and weight loss communities.

Time

To be quite honest, I believed since being home more, I’d have lots of extra time to do MORE. Well, that hasn’t been the case. The more I speak with others, I’m learning everyone seems to have the same challenges.

Scheduling

I would say it’s because we all still continue our lives, schedules and obligations, although perhaps drastically modified, we all still have commitments. This has been a valuable lesson and proves the importance of planning and scheduling. In my case, I’ve added way too many tasks to my list of things to do.

The Recap -Topics Already Discussed

I do have a post I’ve written on Mindfulness, and if you click on the link, you can check it out.

The subject of prioritizing fits well into the S.M.A.R.T goal setting process and also the importance of a establishing a daily routine that works. Those links are here for you to read more about.

Water – Check out my post 7 Easy Ways to Increase Your Daily Water Intake. Do we really need 8 cups a day? Read on to learn more!

Future Topics for Further Discussion

Coping Techniques for Emotions and Stress  – We’ll examine this topic coming up, since it’s something I’m still developing and working through in my life.

Healthy Eating Choices – like good, better, best, especially when money and food sources are limited. We’ll dive into this for future discussion .

Let’s Talk about Z’s – Sleep is such a huge topic. I’m learning so much about sleep. I had NO IDEA the immense impact it has on our overall health and well being. I KNEW it was important, but just not to the significance that it really does have and the impact.

Cooking and creative meal planning –  I’ve written before on the topic of meal planning and does it REALLY help you lose weight. But when money is tight how do we cook and use all of our food items before they spoil?  I’m currently developing this topic now and will have recipes, meal prep ideas and some tips for grocery shopping as we live in these times with some food items in short supply.

I’ll continue on with these topics through June and beyond based on the feedback I’ve received from so many readers.

If there’s a topic you’d like to discuss further or have questions about, just drop me a line and we’ll get it going.

Stay safe, be well and stay connected.
